Hi all! Here are your announcements for week 7!
- Final
- The final is on Wednesday, August 13th, 3-6pm PT.
- Exam logistics have been posted at https://su25.cs168.io/exam. The final logistics form is due by this Wednesday, August 6th.
- Final minilectures and past final threads can be found at #212.
- Extra Credit
- Please review #235 for the course evaluations extra credit opportunity!!
- Project 3
- Project 3B is due this Tuesday, August 5th, 11:59pm PT. See more at #138.
- Please only submit your
student_socket.py
implementation to Gradescope.
- Extensions
- We will not be offering extensions on assignments past this Saturday, August 9th.
- Midterm
- All regrade requests are resolved. Updated grade distribution can be found at #198.
- Lecture
- Our final lecture is tomorrow, August 5th.

Week 6 Announcements + Final Logistics
Hey everyone! Here are some announcements for week 6!
- Midterm
- Grades have been released (#198).
- Regrade requests are due by August 1st, 11:59pm PT.
- Final
- The final is on Wednesday, August 13th, 3-6pm PT.
- Exam logistics have been posted at https://su25.cs168.io/exam.
- The final logistics form is open! If you need any exam accommodations (DSP, online, etc.), please fill this form out by Wednesday, August 6th. We were lenient with late submissions for the midterm, but we won’t be able to offer the same flexibility here.
- Final minilectures and past final threads can be found at #212.
- Project 3 (#138)
- Project 3A has been released and is due on Tuesday, July 29th, 11:59pm PT.
- Project 3B will be due on Tuesday, August 5th, 11:59pm PT.

- Extensions
- We will not be offering extensions past Saturday, August 9th. If you cannot complete all assignments by August 9th, please reach out to cs168@berkeley.edu as soon as possible.

Week 5 Announcements
Hey everyone! We’re officially more than halfway through the course! Here are some announcements for week 5!
- Midterm
- The midterm is on this Tuesday, July 22nd, 7-9pm PT.
- Please review exam logistics for in-depth policies (cheatsheets, exam scope, etc.).
- You can find more information in our midterm main thread (#107) and our midterm review minilectures (#151).
- At this point, if you are unable to take either the main exam, please email cs168@berkeley.edu, though we can’t guarantee any last-minute adjustments.
- Project 3
- Project 3A has been released and is due on Tuesday, July 29th, 11:59pm PT. See #138 for more details.

- Lecture
- There is no lecture on exam day (Tuesday, July 22nd).
- Discussions
- There is no Monday/Tuesday discussion this week. Wednesday/Thursday discussion will cover DNS, HTTP, Ethernet, STP.

- There will be no office hours on Wednesday this week.

- The midterm is on Tuesday, July 22nd, 7-9pm PT.
- Exam logistics have been posted at https://su25.cs168.io/exam. Please make sure you review these policies in depth (cheatsheets, exam scope, etc.).
- The midterm logistics form is due this Wednesday, July 16th. If you need any exam accommodations (DSP, online, left handed desk, etc.), please fill this form out.
- Midterm seat assignments will be released towards the end of this week, after we’ve processed all form submissions.
- We’ll be posting recordings of discussion minilectures later this week to supplement as a pseudo-review session.
- Discussions
- This week’s discussions will be on TCP & Congestion Control.
- Logistics
- At the top right on Ed, you’ll find an icon with an arrow pointing down. This is the resources tab of Ed! We’ve been updating and including all links to previously pinned threads here, so you can find threads to each discussion, project, and lecture!

Week 1 Announcements
Hey everyone! Hope your summer has started swell 🌻 !! Here’s a couple announcements to start off CS168.
- Lectures
- Our first lecture is today, from 2-3:30pm in Evans 10. Lectures will be livestreamed and recorded (zoom link and YouTube playlist for your convenience).
- Assignments
- Project 1 has been released!
- Project 1A is due on Thursday, June 26th, 11:59pm PT.
- Project 1B is due on Thursday, July 3rd, 11:59pm PT.
- For both Project 1A and Project 1B, please only submit your
traceroute.py
implementation to Gradescope.
- Discussion
- Discussions will be starting this week on Wednesday/Thursday. Check out the calendar for times and locations.
- Discussion sessions are held twice weekly, one on Monday/Wednesday from 6PM-7PM, and another on Tuesday/Thursday from 11AM-12PM.
- Video walkthroughs for discussions will be posted Tuesday/Thursday night.
